Our Mission
Making Winter Sports Accessible to Everyone
African Winter Wonderland is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit winter activity group that provides coaching, trip planning services, and community connection for winter sports enthusiasts of all skill levels.
We believe the mountain should be for everyone. AWWLAND was created to break down barriers (financial, cultural, and experiential) that limited underrepresented communities from participating in winter activities. From first-timers who’ve never seen snow to advanced adventure seekers chasing steep lines, our community welcomes all.
Every trip we organize is an experience. It brings an opportunity to learn new skills, build lasting friendships, and celebrate the diversities that makes us unique.
