Our Mission
African Winter Wonderland is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit winter activity group that provides coaching, trip planning services, and community connection for winter sports enthusiasts of all skill levels.
We believe the mountain should be for everyone. AWWLAND was created to break down barriers — financial, cultural, and experiential — that prevent underrepresented communities from enjoying winter sports. From first-timers who've never seen snow to advanced riders chasing steep lines, our community welcomes all.
Every trip we organize is more than a vacation. It's an opportunity to learn new skills, build lasting friendships, and celebrate the diversity that makes our crew unique.
